In Tune, From and to set the mass (m/z) range over which to scan. In the Method > Acquisition section if the Scan type is Scan, Mass range start and Mass range end set the mass (m/z) range over which to scan. If the Scan type is SIM, then Mass needs to be within this range.
Limits are 2.0 m/z and 3000 m/z for the 6130 LC/MS. However, at a step size of 0.05 m/z, the scan range is limited to a 1600 m/z range to prevent data overflow. Step sizes of 0.1 m/z or greater can use the entire mass range.
