Repeating

With the Repeat Table On setting, you organize the data according to a specific key information. The table is then displayed several times, with the respective value of the key information as the table header for each table. The individual tables then contain only the data referring to the respective item. To edit the properties of this table header field, click Repeat On Field Properties.

The Repeat On Field properties of the custom table items will not be documented in the Report Template Documentation Tool.

With the Sort On setting, you can arrange these repeated tables based on an expression and the sorting direction. The Sort On settings are enabled if a Repeat Table On expression is set. By default, the Sort On field is identical to the Repeat Table On field.

For example, if you use a table showing sample names for different injections, you can repeat the table on the injection file name, and sort the tables on the sample name. As a result, there will be one table for each Injection file name, with the Injection file name as the table header, and each table will contain the sample name in the selected sort order.
