Import default templates

Agilent ships a set of default report templates with OpenLab CDS. Follow this procedure to make the default templates available in your project.

Preparations

• To be able to carry out the procedure as described, you need the privileges Project Management > Edit content of project and Report Template > Create report template . Privileges are configured in the Control Panel.

1. Select the Data Selection view.

2. In the Import/Export ribbon tab, click Import Default Templates.

   

3. In the Import Default Templates dialog, select the required report formats. By default, both A4 and Letter are selected.

   Custom calculation examples are also imported by default.

   After the import, a success message is shown. The imported templates are listed in the Methods & Templates > Report templates section.

NOTE

If you repeat this procedure and import the default templates again, they will be copied into a subfolder of the Report templates folder. The subfolder is named corresponding to your OpenLab CDS version. If no subfolder can be created (for example, in an ECM 3.x system on folder level), the filenames are extended by the version number.

This prevents your existing set of templates from being overwritten.
