Reset analysis

Use the Reset function to release an analysis that is blocked in the Sample Scheduler database. For example, you can use it to restore an analysis blocked in the Edited by <user> state in the database.

Preparations

• The Reset button is only displayed if you have the privilege Reset analysis (Sample Scheduler). To be able to carry out the procedure as described, you need this privilege. Privileges are configured in the Control Panel (role type Administrative, section Sample Scheduler).

1. Select the analysis to reset, and click Reset in the Actions ribbon tab.

   Depending on the parameter entries, the analysis state changes to either Waiting or Incomplete. You can edit the analysis parameters.
