Default

The default amount specified in the Set Up Standard Autosampler panel.

Maximum

The maximum amount defined by the injector configuration.

<value> (µL)

An amount that overrides the default injection volume.

From the location specified in the sample information or sequence/worklist.

From a specified location.

Seat

From the seat capillary.

Air

From air, above the seat capillary.

Vial+

Vial+ defines an offset from the current sample vial number. For example, if the current sample vial is 1, a value for Vial+ of 3 specifies a vial that is three positions away from the sample vial, in this case vial 4. The limits depend on the sample tray configuration:

-15 to +15 for the 8 ml-vial tray

-40 to +40 for the 2 ml-vial half-tray

-100 to +100 for the 2 ml-vial full tray

NOTICE! Vial+ may not be used with Overlapped Injection.

Speed

Default

The default speed, specified in the Set Up Standard Autosampler panel.

Maximum

The maximum draw speed

<value> (µL/min)

A value that overrides the default draw speed.

useOffset

Default

The default draw position, specified in the Set Up Standard Autosampler panel.

-2.5 to +35 mm below or above the standard draw position

The offset is calculated from the bottom of the vial, with a slight amount of clearance to cover tolerances. Use a negative offset to touch the vial bottom with the needle. Use a positive offset to raise the needle higher in the vial to clear precipitates on the bottom of the vial, or to select one phase of a biphasic sample.
