Draw

Default

The default amount specified in the Set Up Vialsampler panel.

Maximum

The maximum amount defined by the injector configuration.

<value> (µL)

An amount that overrides the default injection volume.

Sample

From the position specified in the sample information or sequence/worklist.

Location

From a specified location.

See Specifying a Location.

Seat

From the seat capillary.

Air

From air, above the seat capillary.

Sample+

A user-specified increment to the previously specified location (as specified in the sample information or sequence/worklist) by N positions; sample is drawn from the new position.

NOTE: Sample+ is intended for trays that support linear addressing only. Be aware that wellplate positions will also be incremented linearly (For example, A1, A2, A3...), but reaching the end of a wellplate row will cause a sample location error. Use Location+ for wellplates.

Location+

A user-specified increment to the previously specified location (as specified in the sample information or sequence/worklist) by N rows and M columns; sample is drawn from the new position.

NOTE: Location+ is intended for trays that support row and column addressing only. Be aware that, if this function is used with trays that support linear addressing, any row increment will be ignored.

Speed

Default

The default speed, specified in the Set Up Vialsampler panel.

Maximum

The maximum draw speed

<value> (µL/min)

A value that overrides the default draw speed.

useOffset

Default

The default draw position, specified in the Set Up Vialsampler panel.

<value> (mm)

-2.5 to +35 mm below or above the normal draw position

The offset is calculated from the bottom of the vial, with a slight amount of clearance to cover tolerances. Use a negative offset to touch the vial bottom with the needle. Use a positive offset to raise the needle higher in the vial to clear precipitates on the bottom of the vial, or to select one phase of a biphasic sample.
