Prepare Users

Before users can start working with the Oligo Analysis Accelerator, ensure that the appropriate roles are added to the relevant users.

Prerequisites

To be able to carry out the procedure as described, you need the privilege System Administration > Manage security. Privileges are configured in the Control Panel.

  1. Assign the following roles to the relevant users. By default, these roles include all required privileges:

    • Oligo Admin: Can modify project parameters and result set parameters in the Oligo Analysis Accelerator web interface

    • Oligo Supervisor: Can reset the analysis progress on a result set

    • Oligo User: Can run the Oligo Analysis Accelerator analysis

      NOTE: To be able to modify result set parameters in the Initial Setup step, a user must also have the privileges from the default role Oligo Admin. You can add both roles, Oligo User and Oligo Admin, to a such a user.

  3. Synchronize the updated user settings:

  4. In the Control Panel, click Administration, and select Secure Storage. In the ribbon, click Synchronize all.

  5. For the update to take effect immediately, reboot the client PC where Oligo Analysis Accelerator is used.
