The Analysis Management/Delete all analysis action allows the Sample Scheduler administrator to empty the Scheduler database of all its analyses. This functionality avoids the need for the Sample Scheduler administrator to connect to the SQL Server instance. It has to be used exceptionally, in case of maintenance operation on the SQL Server/Sample Scheduler instance for example.
Before deleting all analyses, ensure no analysis is currently running in the Scheduler.
It is strongly advised to stop the Agilent Sample Scheduler LIMS agent service and all the Agilent Sample Scheduler agent services before deleting all the analyses.
It is possible to delete analyses directly from the Sample Scheduler client, without stopping and restarting services. This option is more secure, as deleting a running analysis is not authorized in the Sample Scheduler client. |
