Add a new project to an existing ECM location

To add a new project to an existing ECM location, you must first delete any existing project in that storage location. For EZChrom Edition, you must have the ECM privilege CDSPRIV to use this option. See your ECM system administrator or the ECM Help for more information about privileges. This feature is only available for OpenLab CDS 2.4 and later, as well as OpenLab CDS Chemstation and OpenLab CDS EZChrom editions.

  1. Delete the existing project.

  2. Change the authentication mode to ECM.

  3. Create a new storage location on ECM.

  4. Add a new project.
