Change existing processing method

You can only change a processing method under the following conditions:

• If the project enforces method approval, the method status must be Generic. For details, see Method approval.

• The method is writable. Read-only methods are marked with a read-only symbol in the navigation pane.

  Methods are read-only, for example, if they have been archived in Content Management, or if they are loaded into another project.

  To change a read-only method, save it under a new file name first. The new file is then writable.
