Quantify with a calibration curve

The following procedure describes how you can quantify a compound either with the calibration curve of the compound itself or with the curve of a referenced compound.

Preparations

• To be able to carry out the procedure as described, you need the privilege Processing Method > Edit calibration parameters . Privileges are configured in the Control Panel.

• If the project enforces method approval, the method status must be Generic. For details, see Method approval.

1. If the Processing Method window is hidden, click Processing Method in the Home ribbon tab to show the window.

2. In the Processing Method window, select the Compounds > Calibration node.

3. To use the compound's own calibration curve: Set the Mode parameter to Curve. To use the calibration curve of a different compound: See Quantify with the curve of another compound or group.

4. Under Curve model, select the curve type you want to use. The default is Linear.

5. Under Origin, define how the origin is taken into account for calculating the curve equation.
