Correct the concentration for a compound in the method

In addition to the injection multipliers and dilution factors, you can use a compound specific multiplier in the processing method. With the compound specific multiplier you can, for example, compensate for different purities of the standard compounds.

Preparations

• To be able to carry out the procedure as described, you need the privilege Processing Method > Edit calibration parameters . Privileges are configured in the Control Panel.

• If the project enforces method approval, the method status must be Generic. For details, see Method approval.

1. In the Processing Method window, select the Compounds > Calibration node.

2. Select the required compound, and enter the value in the Multiplier column.

   The value will be used in the next reprocessing to calculate the concentration. For details on the calculation, see Concentration and mass%.
