The following procedure describes how to quantify all not identified peaks by using either Manual Factor or reference peaks.
Prerequisites
To be able to carry out the procedure as described, you need the privilege Processing Method > Edit calibration parameters. Privileges are configured in the Control Panel.
If the project enforces method approval, the method status must be Generic. For details, see Method approval.
Under Methods in the navigation pane, select the processing method you want to edit.
Create a timed group with the following properties (see Create a timed group):
The time range covers the entire chromatogram.
The Include identified peaks check box is cleared.
The Quantify each peak individually check box is selected.
In the Compounds > Calibration node, select the required quantification mode.
To use a Manual Factor:
Under Mode, choose Manual Factor.
Provide a value in the Manual Factor column.
To use reference peaks:
Under Mode, choose Reference.
Under Curve reference, select the reference compound.
Provide a correction factor in the Ref. correction column.
