Add a CC file to the processing method

Preparations

• To be able to carry out the procedure as described, you need the privileges Project Management > Edit content of project and Processing Method > Edit custom calculation parameters . Privileges are configured in the Control Panel.

• If the project enforces method approval, the method status must be Generic. For details, see Method approval.

1. In the Processing Method window, select the Tools > Custom Calculation section.

2. To link to an external custom calculation file, select Linked file and browse to the file.

   OR: To save the custom calculation file in the method, select Embedded file and import the file. Basic information on the imported file, such as the creation date or file version, will be shown in the method.

   NOTE

   If you update a linked file in the Custom Calculation Editor, the method automatically uses the new version.

   If you update an embedded file and want the method to use the new custom calculation file, you must first remove it from the method and embed it again.
