Nested baseline that passes under the peak apex

As of revision 2.8, you can draw a nested baseline that passes under the peak apex. With older revisions, or with the manual integration compatibility mode selected, the nested baseline is limited by the peak apex.

Compatibility mode: Nested peak is limited by the apex

Default mode: Nested peak can pass under the apex

When you create a nested peak that passes under the apex, the chromatogram includes two peaks with the same retention time. By default, the system identifies the base peak as the matching peak for the retention time. To choose the nested peak instead, select Closest nested for Peak match in the compound identification parameters.
