Preparative Sampler Dashboard Panel

Module Graphic

The items in the Preparative Sampler graphic have the following meaning and function:

	The volume and status of the installed sample loops: denotes the analytical loop denotes the preparative loop The loop that is not in use is grayed out.
	The injection volume of the last sample.
	The location of the last sample.
	Sample homogenization is in progress.
	Sample dilution is in progress.
	Multi-wash is in progress.
	Displays the filling levels of the solvent bottles. Clicking on a solvent bottle displays the Bottle Fillings dialog box. When a solvent level falls below the specified volume, a yellow warning is shown. When a bottle is empty, a red error is shown.
	The sample area graphic is shown with a yellow drawer (lower image) if an open drawer is detected. When you move the mouse over the graphic, an enlarged graphic of the sample area is displayed, showing the trays and plates that are currently loaded in your instrument (not applicable to custom plates). See Tray and Plate Configuration to edit the tray and plate configuration.

Actuals

The following Preparative Sampler actuals are displayed:

Analytical Loop	The volume of the currently configured analytical loop.
Preparative Loop	The volume of the currently configured preparative loop.
Active Loop	The loop that is currently in use.
Injection Volume	The injection volume of the current sample.
Sample Location	The location from which the current sample was drawn.
Preparation Task	The current sample preparation task (Homogenization, Dilution, Wash or Auto-clean) or None. For Wash and Auto-clean, the remaining time is shown on a separate line.

Context Menu

The context menu contains the following commands:

Control	Displays the sampler's Control dialog box.
Method	Displays the sampler's Method Setup dialog box.
Injector Program	Displays the sampler's Injector Program .
Error Method	Set Error Method Sets the error method to the method that is currently available in the hardware. The error methods are loaded automatically on all modules if an error occurs. Clear Error Method Removes the currently loaded error method.
Identify Device	Causes the LED on the front of the module to blink for a few seconds.
Identify	ASC only Displays a submenu of all modules in the autoscale cluster. Select a module to cause its LED to blink for a few seconds.
Prepare Sampler	Displays the Prepare Sampler Settings and Start dialog box, which allows you to set up parameters for Prime and Auto-clean.
Modify	Choose what to modify from the submenu: Flow Path Displays the Flow Path dialog box, which allows you to set up the analytical and preparative loop capillaries. These parameters override the Configuration settings.
Bottle Fillings	Displays the Bottle Fillings dialog box.
Assign Wellplates	Displays the Tray and Plate Configuration dialog box.
