Format

Cell height can increase/decrease to accommodate contents

If you select this option, the height of the cells is adjusted automatically so that long texts can be shown with line breaks. This option is especially useful if the text field contains an expression.

Horizontal Alignment

Horizontal alignment of the text inside the cells.

Vertical Alignment

Vertical alignment of the text inside the cells.

Padding

Margin between the text and the border of the cells.

Number Format

With Number Format, you can choose the way in which numbers are shown, for example, as a decimal number, date, or currency. Depending on the category selected in the drop-down list at left, you can choose between different styles in the drop-down list at right.

Rounding

Define the precision of a number, currency, or percentage.

  • Decimal Places

    The number is shown with the given amount of decimal places.

  • Significant Digits

    The number is masked with zeros, only the specified number of significant digits is shown.

    For example, if you set the significant digits to 2, the numbers are shown as follows:

    1234 as 1200

    1 as 1.00

    0.1234 as 0.12

    0.1 as 0.10

    0.01234 as 0.012

Show GMT Offset

This check box is enabled if the value is of type date or time. Select the check box to include information on the time zone.

For example: 22/12/2016 12:24:33 PM (GMT + 6:30)

Preview

The Preview area shows the appearance of the currently selected settings.

Column Width

For row groups, you can define the width of the static columns shown in the left part of the matrix. You can enter any number of characters.
