Create an empty new report template

Prerequisites

To be able to carry out the procedure as described, you need the privilege Data Processing > Print results reports. Privileges are configured in the Control Panel.

  1. Optional: In the navigation pane of the Reporting view, select the data you want to use for developing your template.

  2. In the Home ribbon tab, select the Editor layout.

  3. Minimize the navigation pane to have more space for the Report Editor window.

  4. In the Home ribbon tab, select New Template .

  5. The Select Report Type dialog opens.

  6. Select the required report type, the paper dimensions, and the orientation of the template.

  7. Click OK.

  8. A new report template opens. The Body area is empty, the Header and Footer areas contain several fields that are commonly used.

  9. If required, click Report Properties to modify the following: the previously set page margins. Click OK to confirm the new settings.

  10. Add and configure the required report items.
