Edit an existing report template

Prerequisites

To be able to carry out the procedure as described, you need the privilege Data Processing > Print results reports. Privileges are configured in the Control Panel.

  1. Save your results, and select the Reporting view.

  2. In the Home ribbon tab, select the Editor layout.

  3. Optional: In the navigation pane of the Reporting view, select the data you want to use for developing your template.

  4. In the Report Templates section, double-click a report template to load it.

  5. The Report Templates section lists all report templates in the currently selected directory. If required, navigate to a different directory.

    You can choose any location within the Report Templates path defined in the Control Panel. This path may be set to a location that is common to several projects. Thus, sharing report templates across multiple projects is possible.

    If not all report templates are listed that are available in a directory, click Refresh in the ribbon to update the list.

The report template opens in the Report Editor window.
