Use the method editor to configure parameters for your PAL Sampler method.
PAL Sampler method is made up of a single script containing a series of arguments. The selected script must be congruent with the installed syringe. See Definition of Terms for more information.
Your method's parameters and instrument configuration must be compatible with your current instrument hardware and resources. When you load a sampler method, the data system checks your method configuration against the actual instrument configuration before allowing it to run. See Method and Script Resolution for more information.
If you are using an Agilent GC that supports Prep Run on Manual Request, be sure to use an Agilent-created script so that Prep Run on Manual Request functions as expected.
Select the desired script to use with your analytical method from the drop-down list at the top of the screen. To add or remove scripts from this list, see Script Manager.
Enter or select the setpoints for the parameters listed for the script. The parameters and setpoints are specific to your selected script, and must be selected as part of the script. Refer to your PAL documentation for details.
The Script Modified date is the date of the last time the script was edited and saved.
The Script Description displays read-only information about your selected script, any suggested applications, or specific setpoints that are requested by the script designer.
Resets the scrip parameter values to the script's default values. Be sure to save your method parameters if you wish to use the current script parameters in the future.
A list of tools that are available on the system, their location, and installed syringe volume displays here. See Tool Configuration.
