Enables the autosampler to draw from a specified Source.
Parameter | Value | Description |
---|---|---|
Draw | Default | The default amount specified in the Set Up Agilent Autosampler panel. |
| Maximum | The maximum amount defined by the autosampler configuration. |
| Amount | An amount that overrides the default injection volume. |
from | Sample | From the position specified in the sample information or sequence/worklist. |
| Location | From a specified location. The location can be a well or a vial. |
| Seat | From the seat capillary. |
| Air | From air, above the seat capillary. |
| Sample+ | Sample+ is used for wellplate sample locations only; it defines an offset from the current location. You specify the offsets for Tray, Plate, Row and Column individually. For example, if the current location is P1-A-01, values for Plate, Row and Column of 1 define location P(1+1)-(A+1)-(01+1), which is P2-B-02. The limits are: Tray: -1 to +1 (only valid if two trays are inserted) Plate: -2 to +2 (only valid for wellplates) Row: -15 to +15 Column: -23 to +23 |
| Vial+ | This function is valid for vial trays only. Vial+ is used for sample vial locations only; it defines an offset from the current sample vial number. For example, if the current sample vial is 1, a value for Vial+ of 3 specifies a vial that is three positions away from the sample vial, in this case vial 4. The limits are independent of the sample tray configuration: -99 to +99 |
| Plug | From plug specified in the Plug Settings |
| Flushport | From wash port |
| Flush | From flush solvent |
Speed | Default | The default speed, specified in the Set Up Agilent Autosampler panel. |
| Maximum | The maximum draw speed |
| Speed | A value that overrides the default draw speed. |
| Rinse | The default rinse speed, specified in Set Up Dual Loop Autosampler |
useOffset | Default | The default draw position, specified in Set Up Dual Loop Autosampler |
| Value | The offset of the autosampler needle is calculated from the BOTTOM of the well, with a slight amount of clearance to cover tolerances. Use a negative offset to touch the well bottom with the needle. Use a positive offset to raise the needle higher in the well to clear precipitates on the bottom of the well, or to select one phase of a biphasic sample. The units are millimeters, with 1/10 mm resolution. The range of offsets available is from -2.5 to 35.0 mm. |
