Sample Spiking for direct injection
The Sample Spiking for direct injection workflow allows you to add an internal standard (mix) to the sample for comparison in the data analysis. You can also use the workflow to dilute the sample.
The sample is taken from the position specified in the sample information or sequence/worklist. The mixture is prepared within the needle and directly injected. For more details, mark the Advanced check box at the top right of the workflow view to display the injector program in the advanced view.

Parameters
The following parameter settings are available:
Parameter | Description |

Sample Volume | Specify the sample volume. |
Standard/Diluent Volume | Specify the standard or diluent volume. |
From Location | Enter the location of the standard or dilution solvent. See Specifying a Location. |
Mix Volume | Specify the air volume for the mixing within the needle. |
Repetitions | Specify the number of repeat cycles for the mixing. |

Accumulated Draw Volume | The sum of all entered volumes plus 0.7 µL per standard wash cycle. The maximum draw volume is limited by the loop volume and the syringe volume. If the accumulated draw volume exceeds the maximum draw volume, a warning icon is displayed. |
