Add existing analysis to sequence

Prerequisites

To add an existing analysis to an existing sequence:

  • The sequence can not be a bracketed sequence

  • The sequence and the analysis must be in the state Waiting, Waiting on Error, or Incomplete.

  • The analysis must have the same injection source, either a single or a dual injection source, as the analyses in the sequence.

  • The analysis must have the same LIMS connection as the analyses in the sequence, or the parameter must be blank for all analyses.

  • Different instrument groups can be assigned to the analyses as long as they contain the same combination of instrument and project.

  • The analysis does not need to have a project defined, but if it does, it must have the same project assigned as the sequence.

  • You have the privilege Perform actions on sequence (Sample Scheduler).

  1. Select analysis and the sequence you want to add it to.

    2. The Create Sequence button is replaced by the Append to sequence button.

  2. Click Append to sequence.

    3. A confirmation prompt opens.

  3. Click OK.

    4. The analysis is added to the sequence and an audit trail entry is created.
