To get familiar with the Sample Scheduler web interface, see Getting started.
The Sample Scheduler web interface provides an overview of the workload of your analyses and sequences created and queued with the different Sample Scheduler instances (client, web interface, LIMS). With the help of the web interface, you can view and edit your analyses without a special software - a simple web browser is sufficient. You are able to change the workload by editing your authorized analyses (for example, start or stop analyses, change vial position). This online help provides detailed procedures for interacting with the web interface.
Access the web interface via https://<hostname>:52088/openlab/samplescheduler.
Alternatively, select Agilent Technologies > Agilent Sample Scheduler from the Start menu.
Log in with your OpenLab user credentials (username, password, and, if required, domain). User authentication is configured in the Control Panel. * * See "system configuration" in the Control Panel online help.
The number of concurrent sessions in teaser mode is limited to five concurrent user sessions. Any additional users trying to log in receive a message The number of concurrent users is exceeded. Please try again later. This user limit is lifted after activating Sample Scheduler (see Activation View).
Your account is locked after a certain number of failed login attempts. After the account lock time has expired, you can log in again. These settings are defined in the Control Panel under Administration > Security Policy.
The start page depends on your privileges. Users with the privilege View lab manager start page are redirected to the start page of the Lab manager, which displays a workload overview of your instruments and analyses. All other users are redirected to the start page of the operator on which the workload overview of the analyses is displayed. Privileges are configured in the Control Panel (role type Administrative, section Sample Scheduler). For more details on Sample Scheduler privileges, see Sample Scheduler user privileges configuration.
