Here, you set the parameters used to generate Extracted Ion Chromatograms (EICs).

Single m/z expansion chromatograms

This parameter is used for extracting EIC signals from an injection or from an MS spectrum. It is only used for single m/z values, not for mass ranges!

SIM/EIC extraction retention time window for target compounds

With the extraction retention time window, you limit the time range around a compound's expected retention time for which these signals are extracted. If you provide both absolute and relative time ranges, a sum of both will be used (same principle as for the peak identification window). The extraction window used for each compound is shown in the compound table, Extraction window (min) column.   This setting is used whenever an EIC or SIM is extracted due to a target or qualifier evaluation. It is not used in an MS sample purity evaluation or a manual EIC or SIM extraction.
