Always ask for a processing method
When loading unprocessed data, you may want to ensure that there is always a processing method linked to it. With the following setting, a dialog will ask for the required method configuration of a new processing method.
Select the File ribbon tab.
Select the Options page.
Under Loading unprocessed data, select Prompt User.
Click
to
return to the application.
With this setting, the following dialog will open if you load unprocessed data:
Select Link only to create a new method with the selected configuration, link it to your data, but do not yet process your data.
Select Link and process to create a new method with the selected configuration, link it to the data, and process the data with this default method.
Select No method to load the data without a processing method.
The Auto import processing method check box is enabled if you load ChemStation or EZChrom data that includes associated ChemStation or EZChrom methods.
