User Interface - MS Global Parameters Pane
Each section in the SQ section of the Method Editor has two panes. The MS Global Parameters pane is the top pane in the Instrument Setup > SQ > Method section. It is visible when any of the Instrument Setup > SQ > Method sections are visible. See Method > MS Global Parameters Pane (LC/MS).
User Interface - Chromatograms
You can select which chromatograms are displayed in the Chromatograms window.
These chromatograms are for online display only. The real-time chromatograms are not carried over to DA.
Columns
The following columns are available in the Chromatograms table.
- Chrom type - TIC, Channel TIC, EIC, or BPC.
- TIC - The Total Ion Chromatogram is the overlap of all of the scan segment TICs in one trace.
- Channel TIC - A Channel TIC is a TIC per scan segment. TIC_1 is the TIC for scan segment 1. TIC_2 is the TIC for scan segment 2, and so on.
- BPC - A Base Peak Chromatogram. You can specify masses or mass ranges to exclude from this chromatogram.
- EIC - An Extracted Ion Chromatogram is a chromatogram for only the specified m/z or m/z range.
- Label - The name to use for this signal in the Online Signals Window.
- Extracted mass (m/z) - The mass or mass range for an EIC plot. This column is only available if the Chrom type is EIC.
- Excluded masses (m/z) - the masses or mass ranges to exclude. Multiple items can be typed, and you separate items with commas. This column is only available if the Chrom type is BPC.
