Edit MS Global Parameters (LC/MS)
Edit the Source parameters (LC/MS)
Each section in the SQ section of the Method Editor has two panes. The MS Global Parameters pane is the top pane in the Instrument Setup > SQ > Method section. It is visible when any of the Instrument Setup > SQ > Method sections are visible. See Advanced Acquire > MS Global Parameters Pane (LC/MS).
The actual values are shown in a read-only box next to the parameter.
When you run a sequence, you can override a source parameter. See Run a sequence (LC/MS) and Run a sequence to optimize a parameter (LC/MS).
The temperature of the nitrogen drying gas. See Gas Temperature (LC/MS).
The temperature of the vaporizer. This parameter is only available if you have an APCI, APPI, or MMI source. See Vaporizer (LC/MS).
The flow rate in L/min of the nitrogen drying gas. See Gas Flow (LC/MS).
Nebulizer sets the pressure of the nitrogen nebulizing gas. See Nebulizer (LC/MS).
The voltage to apply to the capillary when acquiring positive ions. See Capillary Voltage (LC/MS).
The voltage to apply to the capillary when acquiring negative ions. See Capillary Voltage (LC/MS).
This is a read-only value. See Capillary Current (LC/MS).
This is a read-only value. It shows the voltage for the corona.
This is a read-only value. It shows the current in the spray chamber.
The voltage at the nozzle of the Agilent Jet Stream source. This variable is only available if your source is an Agilent Jet Stream.
