Common Tasks (LC/MS)

The Instrument Status window is used to monitor various parameters to the LC/MS instrument. This section contains common tasks you can perform on your LC/MS device.

What do you want to do?

Common tasks:

• Start the LC/MS instrument (LC/MS)

• Turn the instrument off (LC/MS)

• Configure the Single Quadrupole LC/MS Instrument (LC/MS)

Tasks performed on the Dashboard tab:

• Put the SQ instrument in Standby (LC/MS)

• Turn on the SQ instrument (LC/MS)

• Send calibrant to MS (LC/MS)

• Send calibrant to Waste (LC/MS)

• Pump down the SQ (LC/MS)

• Vent the SQ (LC/MS)

• Review tune report (LC/MS)

• Monitor the health of the SQ (LC/MS)

• Check vacuum pressure (LC/MS)

• Check why the SQ is not ready (LC/MS)
