Possible causes:
The number of qualifiers is set to zero in the method.
Check the value for Number of qualifiers used for scan data.
See Processing method: Compounds: Identification, Qualifier Setup tab.
The SIM/EIC for the qualifier candidate does not have an integrated peak.
If there is no integrated peak in the SIM/EIC: Optimize integration of EIC or SIM peaks
If there seems to be only a baseline in the SIM/EIC: Check the extraction window Exp. RT (min) ± SIM/EIC extraction retention time window for target compounds
SIM/EIC extraction retention time window for target compounds: see Processing method: Extraction: Chromatogram (MS tab)
If there is an integrated peak in the EIC: check its retention time. Is it within the qualifier retention time window Exp. RT (min) ± Qualifier RT window (± min)?
Qualifier RT window (± min): see Processing method: Compounds: Identification, Qualifier Setup tab
Possible causes:
SIM m/z values have been defined in the acquisition method, but Add/Update MS compounds did not find integrated peaks.
Ensure that you focus an injection with signals when running Add/Update MS compounds. If you focus a blank injection, no peaks can be found.
