The items in the fraction collector graphic have the following meaning and function:
| G7159B only Denotes collection to a fraction location. The current collection location is shown to the right of the graphic. The fraction collection graphic is shown with a yellow drawer if an open drawer is detected. The tooltip displays the current configuration of fraction locations in your instrument. | |||

FCC only The status of recovery collection: enabled (upper) or disabled (lower). | ||||
| G1364F and G5664B only Displays the status of the fraction thermostat, off (upper) or on (lower). This graphic is available only when a fraction thermostat is installed. In a Fraction Collector Cluster, the tooltip gives details of the states of all installed thermostats. | |||

| Displays the Reset Fraction Volumes dialog box, which allows you to reset the fill volumes currently stored in the device. | ||||||||||||
| Allows you to specify a start location for fraction collection.

| G7166A only Flushes all ports of your instruments simultaneously with pressurized air. The procedure can be started irrespective of whether fraction collection is in progress or not, and flushes all ports that are currently not in use. Use Modify > Flush with Air Duration to change the flush time. | ||||||||||||
| G7166A only Displays the Start Purge dialog box, which allows you to purge selected channels with solvent. | ||||||||||||
