It is possible to use tokens to generate the sample name, the result name, the result path, and the data file name.
The following table shows which tokens you can use for the specific parameters.
Parameter |
Description |
---|---|
Sample Name | Acq. Method <AMX> Instrument name <I> Local date & time <D> Custom local date & time <CD> Proc. Method <PMX> Short local date & time <DS> Username <U> Vial <V> Identifier <ID> Analysis variable i [i=1 to 5] <A1> to <A5> Lims ID I [i = 1 to 3] <LID1> to <LID3> Sequence name <SEQ> (Sequence only) |
Result path This parameter is disabled if you use ECM 3.x as data storage. | Instrument name <I> Local date & time <D> Short local date & time <DS> Username <U> Analysis variable i [i=1 to 5] <A1> to <A5> Sequence name <SEQ> |
Result Name (single run) | Acq. Method <AMX> Instrument name <I> Local date & time <D> Custom local date & time <CD> Proc. Method <PMX> Sample name <S> Short local date & time <DS> Username <U> Vial <V> Identifier <ID> Analysis variable i [i=1 to 5] <A1> to <A5> LIMS ID I [i = 1 to 3] <LID1> to <LID3> |
Result Name (sequence) | Instrument name <I> Local date & time <D> Custom local date & time <CD> Short local date & time <DS> Username <U> Sequence name <SEQ> |
Result Name (dual simultaneous injection) | Instrument name <I> Local date & time <D> Custom local date & time <CD> Short local date & time <DS> Username <U> |
DataFile | Sample name <S> Acq. Method <AMX> Instrument name <I> Local date & time <D> Proc Method <PMX> Short local date & time <DS> Username <U> Vial <V> |
Default result name: <S>_<D>_Test
The Result name is: SampleName_Date&Time_Test
If using Sample Name or Sequence Name as tokens, ensure that these names do not contain invalid characters, such as "?/|<>*:"". |
