You can merge single analyses that have the status Waiting, Waiting on error, Holding.
Prerequisites
To be able to carry out the procedure as described, you need the privilege Merge / Split analysis (Sample Scheduler). Privileges are configured in the Control Panel (role type Administrative, section Sample Scheduler).
In the Analyses view, select the two analysis you want to merge.
Both analyses must have the same instrument, the same project, the same LIMS connection, and the same schedulable analysis state. The assigned instrument must support dual simultaneous injections. |
The
Merge button in
the header will be enabled. If your screen size is too small, you can find the
button in the context menu
of the header.
Click or tap
Merge.
In order to successfully merge analyses within a project, certain parameter settings must be provided. Warnings are displayed when parameter values can be adjusted automatically. For details on the resolution for the contradictory parameter settings (for example, injection source, user, result name), refer to Conflict resolution. |
The single analyses are merged into a dual analysis. The values from the single analyses are retained for the dual analysis.
The following applies to the LIMS connection of the dual analysis: You cannot edit the assigned LIMS connection if one of the single analyses was submitted by the LIMS.
The dual analysis is automatically selected in the Analyses view.
