Using the Details pane

As with the Sample Scheduler client, the parameters are grouped into categories. Each category is assigned to its own tab page.

Categories for analyses are Analysis Info, Acquisition, Quantitation, Variables. Sequence parameters are listed under Sequence Info; they are a subset of Analysis Info parameters that apply to all analyses in a sequence. For more details on parameters, see Analysis Parameters.

The Favorites tab summarizes the most important parameters added to your favorite list.

Users with the privilege View report can also access the Report tab. This tab shows for analyses with the states Ended, Transferred, and Error. For sequences, the tab is only shown for the sequence header, not individual sequence lines. If the tab is available, it will be pre-selected when opening the Details pane.

Use the drop-down list to select a report. A report preview window also contains a button to open the report in a new window. If there is only one report available, it is automatically opened. The preview also notes when there are no reports available. To update the list of available pdf reports, click refresh.

The details pane displays an Open Data link to the OpenLab Data Analysis next to the result name for single runs and sequences, if the following prerequisites are met:

  • Web interface is opened on desktop PC

  • User has the Open Data privilege

  • The analysis in in Ended or Transferred state

Click the link to open the selected analysis request in OpenLab Data Analysis. Result sets open in the same instance of Data Analysis if they are accessed by the same user.

In the Details pane, the tabs of these categories and their parameters are only displayed if you have the privilege Configure Analyses view and details (Sample Scheduler Web Interface) or View all Analysis Details (Sample Scheduler Web Interface) (on upgraded systems). Privileges are configured in the Control Panel (role type Administrative, section Sample Scheduler).

Automatic refresh is disabled while the parameters are being edited. Your entries are automatically saved after 9 minutes of inactivity.
