Assign a LIMS connection to an analysis

Assign a LIMS connection to your analyses or sequence.

You cannot edit the LIMS connection for analyses or sequences submitted by the LIMS. The same applies to manually created sequences that contain an analysis submitted by the LIMS.

Prerequisites

You have enabled the editing state for the analysis or sequence.

1. For an analysis: On the Analysis Info tab of the Details pane, click or tap LIMS connection.

or For a sequence: In the sequence header of the Sequence View, click or tap LIMS connection.

A drop-down list displays all available LIMS connections. The default LIMS is the first item in the list.

If an analysis or sequence was created via XML or SQL command, the LIMS connection specified therein is preselected. You cannot edit the LIMS connection.

2. Select a LIMS connection.

3. To clear the LIMS connection, select the empty field from the LIMS connection drop-down list.
