Import an EZChrom method

Privileges

• Project Management > Edit content of project
  Privileges are configured in the Control Panel.

Prerequisites

• You have created the method with EZChrom A.04.01 or higher.

• EZChrom Elite methods are not supported.

• When working in a compliant system, ensure that method audit trails are enabled for your project. Projects are configured in the Control Panel. See Audit Trail Settings.

1. In the Data Processing view, select the Processing ribbon tab.

2. Open the submenu of the New Method button , then select New Method from EZChrom.

3. In the Create New Processing Method dialog, select the required method configuration.

   NOTE

   Choose the method configuration carefully. You will not be able to change it afterwards.

4. Click Browse to select the EZChrom method file (*.met).

   Choose the Windows file system or Storage tab to load the method from the Windows file system or from Content Management.

   To select multiple files, hold the Ctrl key while clicking the files. To select multiple consecutive files, hold the Shift key and click a second file.

5. Click Create method.

6. Ensure that you selected the EZChrom integrator in the General > Properties node of the processing method.

7. Carefully check all imported parameters.

If method audit trails are activated by default in your project, the EZchrom method audit trail is imported as well. All imported entries are visible in the Data Analysis method audit trail. NOTE: If the EZchrom data does not contain any GMT offset information, the local GMT information is appended to the dates in Data Analysis.
