Apply template

Use the (Apply Template) feature to automatically complete your analyses. Apply the configured values of an Auto-fill template to your analysis in the Details pane. You only need to edit the parameters that are not specified by the template. For more information about the Auto-fill feature and its configuration, see Automatic filling of analysis parameters.

Prerequisites

You have selected an analysis and opened the Details pane in editing mode.

1. In the Details pane, specify all parameters for the analysis that are required by the template.

2. Click or tap (Apply Template) in the header of the Details pane.

The Auto-fill values of the template are applied to the analysis.

The parameters that have already been assigned a value in the Analysis table are not overwritten with the value of the template. For more information about parameter completion, see Automatic command completion rules.

3. Assign additional parameter values to the analysis if necessary. Note that all mandatory parameters must be specified to schedule the analysis.

4. Save your analysis.

The entries are validated and checked for missing or invalid values.
