Tune > Manual Tune > Source Section (LC/MS)

User Interface

Tune file

The name of the current tune file. You can use the icons in the Tune Toolbar to open and save a tune file.

Fast scan

Whether or not the current tune file is a Fast scan tune file. See Fast scan (LC/MS).

Ion source

The source that is configured with the current instrument.

Diverter

Whether the stream from the LC is going into Waste or into the MS.

Calibrant on

Whether or not the calibrant is flowing.

Polarity

Positive or Negative.

Scan type

Scan, SIM, or Profile.

Source Parameters

Gas Temp (°C)

The temperature of the nitrogen drying gas. See Gas Temperature (LC/MS).

Vaporizer (°C)

The temperature of the vaporizer. This parameter is only available if you have an APCI, APPI, or MMI source. See Vaporizer (LC/MS).

Gas Flow (L/min)

The flow rate in L/min of the nitrogen drying gas. See Gas Flow (LC/MS).

Nebulizer (psi)

Nebulizer sets the pressure of the nitrogen nebulizing gas. See Nebulizer (LC/MS).

Capillary Voltage (V)

See Capillary Voltage (LC/MS).

Capillary Current (nA)

This is a read-only value. See Capillary Current (LC/MS).

Corona Current (µA)

See Corona Current (LC/MS).

Corona Voltage (V)

This is a read-only value. It shows the voltage for the corona.

Charging Voltage (V)

See Charging Voltage (LC/MS).

Chamber Current (µA)

This is a read-only value. It shows the current in the spray chamber.

Nozzle Voltage (V)

The voltage at the nozzle. This variable is only available if the source is an  Agilent Jet Stream.
