MS Spectrum
An MS spectrum shows the reponses of an MS detector for measured m/z values at a specific retention time or averaged over a time range.
The spectrum is in centroid or profile mode, depending on the settings in the acquisition method. The spectrum may be background subtracted. Spectrum type (peak apex or average) and background subtraction depend on the settings in the processing method.
